CHORAL FESTIVAL / CLINICS

The choral festivals scheduled this spring are for high school and middle school choral ensembles.  Each festival will feature a good performance venue, with risers and piano.  Each festival will have a well-regarded adjudicator who will critique your group, and work with the group for a short time after your performance.  Each director needs to bring an original copy of their music to the festival for the judge.  All ensembles need to stay for the entire festival.

Here are the dates and venues of this year’s festivals:

March 17, 2010 - Granite Hills H.S., Apple Valley

April 8, 2010 - Redlands H.S., Clock Auditorium

April 20, 2010 - Fontana H.S., Fontana

All festivals begin at 10:00AM, and should conclude by 12:30PM. A school may not bring more than two ensembles to any festival.
Deadlines to register are a week before each event.

To accommodate the adjudication time/clinic, each choir will be limited to singing three choral selections in their program.  Each festival is limited to the first 10 ensembles to apply, but each festival needs a minimum of 4 ensembles to be held.

Remember, there is NO registration fee to attend an SBCMEA Choral Festival!
