The San Bernardino County Music Educators Association, in partnership with the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools, is excited to invite middle school band students in the High Desert to audition for the 2027 High Desert Middle School Honor Band! This year’s Honor Band will be conducted by Mr. Ivan Aviles, a band director in the Temecula Valley Unified School District. This special opportunity welcomes all High Desert middle school band students who are interested in developing their musical skills, collaborating with fellow musicians, participating in an outstanding musical experience, and representing their own band programs with pride. Before registering for an audition, students should confirm that they are available to attend all scheduled rehearsals and the final performance. There is also a 10 dollar audition fee per instrument. Students auditioning on multiple instruments must submit a separate $10 fee for each instrument (Percussion is an exception for auditioning on multiple percussion instruments)
